Hung on a fully adjustable wax cord and can be worn as a necklace or choker.
Lava Stone is said to be a grounding stone that strengthens your connection to Mother Earth. It gives you strength and courage, allowing stability through times of change. It is also said to protect against negative energy, absorb fatigue and stress, leaving you with only positive energy.
Paired with copper, a metal that is considered capable of storing healing and protective properties. Traditionally, copper has been used for at least 10,000 years to represent prosperity, good luck and good fortune.

When jewelry is made with copper, it can react with sweat, lotion, and other products on your skin and oxidize. When copper oxidizes, it goes through chemical reactions that create a green type of “film” on the jewelry, which then transfers to the skin. It is not permanent and will easily wipe away, however, some people may confuse this sensation with their skin being allergic to copper, it is possible, but not usually the case. It’s important to note this is an oxidation reaction, not a skin reaction.
It is also important to note that oxidization ONLY occurs when the copper is exposed to these elements, and we understand that it can be quite annoying, so we take the exra time and care to seal all of our jewellery in a protective coating as standard. This will keep the piece looking as good as the day you bought it, and also prevent any discolouration of your skin. However, we do offer un sealed copper as an option when you purchase. Copper does have a number of benefits and we want to be able to offer the option if you prefer.
The benefits of un sealed copper: First, copper is an essential mineral for humans, and wearing it has the benefit of slow copper absorption- perfect for proper assimilation. It’s also been claimed that headaches, arthritis, joint pain, and other deficiencies can be effectively treated with the aid of copper
As already mentioned, copper reacts naturally with our salty skin, which can be created whenever we sweat. This just means you have to be aware of when you might be working out or in the sun. But copper can also react to acidic environments- and your body acidity is related to your diet. Junk food, processed food, and lots of red meat will make your body acidic.
The more acidic your diet and body, the more likely you are to get sick.
This can make copper jewelry a terrific way to gauge whether or not you need to change your diet or if you’re just on the cusp of coming down with something. It can be very useful!
